“AI can inform, rank, and flag - but a human must own the decision. Documented AI-related incidents nearly doubled globally between 2024 and 2025, a trajectory that reflects precisely this gap between deployment speed and governance readiness”, says our colleague Mihai Voicu, in an interview with Romania Insider.

The regulatory framework is already largely defined at the European level through the AI Act, MiCA, and DORA, providing a common playing field for companies that develop or use AI, crypto, and blockchain solutions.

The real challenge is no longer the absence of rules, but how these are embedded into the product, internal processes, and business solutions from the very beginning.

One key point highlighted by Mihai is that many companies mistakenly assume that compliance obligations rest solely with the technology provider. In reality, liability sits with the company that implements and uses these systems.

This month is about a new chapter for us: , our new office.

For the past few years, we have worked from a charming villa on Părintele Galeriu street, built in 1898 in the French neoclassical style, once the residence of the Râșnoveanu family. It was a space with a lot of character, and an important part of our journey.

At the same time, our team has grown, and we needed a space better suited to our current scale.

📍 You can now find us at Equilibrium 2 building, Gara Herastrau 2C, 10th floor.

It is a modern, bright, sustainable, and flexible space that supports our ideas, our creativity, and our way of doing things. More than a change of address, it’s about having a space that fits what we do now.

Today, we open a chapter in our journey and can’t wait to welcome visitors to our new office!

They didn’t run just for the finish line or a medal. They run as a team that believes sport can do more than keep us fit. It can support real causes.

The Half Legal Marathon was about pace, energy, and community, but most importantly, about the NGOs they chose to run for. Every kilometer was a reminder that our effort can mean something for others.

Ada Pascu, MiIhai Pisică, Mihai Voicu, and Bogdan Frigioiu, they were the ONV LAW team that ran on Sunday to support one of the NGOs in the program.

The Half Legal Marathon, organized in partnership with the Bucharest Bar, brought together over 2,000 runners this year, all supporting different NGOs: Asociația Autism Voice, Asociatia Copii pentru Viitor, HOSPICE Casa Sperantei, Asociatia Energia Inteligenta, Asociația Humanimals, HLC, The Social Incubator, Asociatia pentru Victimele Infractiunilor Sexuale, FABRICA DE DARURI, Asociația Atelierul de Bine, Asociația Avatar, N-avem SANGE, Fundatia Romanian Angel Appeal, Asociația Schimbă Viața Unui Copil (SVUC).

Sport doesn’t change the world overnight, but it changes people.
