🌍 This autumn, ONV LAW is joining the Forbes Romania CEE Forum event, one of the region’s leading platforms for dialogue on business, leadership and the future of Central and Eastern Europe.

Radu Nemes, our Managing Partner, will speak in the Leadership Imperative panel, joining CEOs, founders, entrepreneurs and senior business leaders with extensive executive experience.

"During the Share & Shape program, I gained a deeper understanding of the legal profession, not only from a technical and legal perspective but also through its human dimension. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 & 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬!

The special guest on this final day was Carmen Micu, CEO and Founding Member of -Boards of Elite. The discussion started with the role of a board within a company and the responsibilities that come with it.
Carmen also explored more personal topics, such as personal development, confidence, and the idea that a professional journey is built step by step. It was a valuable meeting that offered us a different approach to leadership and on how our experiences and choices can create new opportunities.

Thank you, Carmen Micu, for sharing your perspectives and for such a provocative discussion. Your insights encouraged us to reflect on our own professional paths and the opportunities that can be created through continuous learning and self-determination.

We ended the day with a session led by Radu Nemes, our Managing Partner. Through an open discussion, he invited us to reflect on the importance of mindset, personal values, and the choices we make. It was a fitting way to bring this year's summer school to a close.

Our Share & Shape summer school provides a different experience, giving the students the opportunity to discover a variety of perspectives through discussions with entrepreneurs, lawyers, and professionals from different industries. This year, each guest shared real-life experiences, insights, and lessons that complemented what we usually learn at university.

About courtrooms, what it means to be a good judge, how a career in the judiciary begins, and how challenging and demanding a first trial can be, as well as about the legal profession, negotiation, and the ingredients of a successful career as a lawyer were the topics explored by our colleagues Corina Monea and Mihai Voicu, Partner at the by LAW Summer School.

The discussions were honest and grounded in real-life experience, covering career choices, responsibility, and the defining moments that shape a legal career. Beyond theory, students gained practical insights into what the beginning of a legal career really looks like and the qualities that make a lasting difference.

Our special guest, Mircea Busuioceanu, Chief Risk Officer Raiffeisen Bank Romania, challenged the students to explore artificial intelligence, critical thinking, AI agents, and how the legal profession is evolving, looking at the new technological revolution. The discussions were lively, perspectives were diverse, and the conversations continued long after the session had ended.

We continued the &Shape by LAW summer school journey with new discussions, lessons and new perspectives.

Today, we were delighted to welcome Vinatoru, General Counsel at , who shared his insights with our students on the core values behind a successful career: time well spent, courage, honesty, and humbleness.

One message, in particular, resonated with all of us: "The most successful lawyers of tomorrow will not only master the law. They will understand people, business, and, most importantly, themselves."

The open discussion, thoughtful questions, and shared experiences turned this session into a meaningful reflection on what it truly takes to become a well-rounded legal professional.

Day 1 of our Share & Shape summer school was filled with curiosity, great conversations, and plenty of questions!
We were delighted to welcome 20 students who chose to spend the week with us and give them a first glimpse into our company and the legal profession.

The day began with Radu Nemes, who introduced our company and shared what the students can expect throughout the program. They also received a book that will accompany them during the Summer School.

Corneliu Bodea, CEO of Adrem, spoke about one of our most valuable resources: time. He encouraged students to think about how the choices we make every day shape both our personal and professional journeys.

The students then met our colleague Pascu, who introduced them to Romania's public procurement system and the key legislation governing this field, offering valuable insights into a complex and dynamic area of law.

Because every career starts somewhere, we also invited our trainee colleague, Ana Maria Sirbu, to share her experience of beginning a legal career. The students had plenty of questions, including about the bar exam and the transition from university to professional life. Drawing on her own recent experience as a law graduate, Ana-Maria answered them openly and offered practical advice and encouragement.

A day full of learning, meaningful discussions, and new perspectives... and this is only the beginning!

Starting next week, students participating in Share & Shape Summer School will join the ONV LAW team for a hands-on experience built around learning, collaboration, and curiosity.

We are preparing for weeks filled with discussions, projects, challenges, and fresh perspectives on the legal profession.

At 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 & 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞, we do not teach law, students have plenty of time to learn during university. The conversation is about business, leadership, relationships, and the choices that define a career.
