A big thank you to Mihai G. Popa for the invitation to contribute to the high-level learning experience offered by the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages (FABIZ-ASE)!

Thank you to the Facultatea de Drept ASE and the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages (FABIZ-ASE) for the warm welcome and to the students for their engagement and curiosity!

As a truly European law firm, with French-speaking colleagues across several offices and Laura Estrade (Badescu) herself registered with the Paris Bar Association, it was only natural for us to join this initiative and engage with francophone business students.

Laura’s guest lecture on M&A Transactions, delivered to second-year students in the French program, was part of the faculty’s -accredited programme, one of the most rigorous and internationally recognized accreditation systems for business and management education. With 114 institutions in Europe holding EFMD Programme Accreditation, participating in such an initiative is both an honor and a testament to the programme’s academic quality and global relevance.

During her session, Laura guided the francophone students through the key stages of an M&A transaction – from the letter of intent and due diligence to negotiation, signing, and post-closing – offering not only legal structure but also practical insights drawn from cross-border transactional work.

🏆 Lorena Samoilă has been awarded the “Sarmiza Bilcescu-Alimănișteanu” Excellence Prize by the Bucharest Bar, on the occasion of its 194th anniversary.

Lorena has been part of our team since before passing her INPPA exam, and over the years we have seen her grow into the successful lawyer she is today: dedicated, insightful, and deeply committed to the values of our profession.

🥳This award is a well-deserved recognition of her passion and perseverance.
The award is named in honor of Sarmiza Bilcescu-Alimănișteanu, the first woman lawyer in Europe and the first woman in the world to obtain a PhD in Law - a pioneer whose legacy continues to inspire generations of lawyers.
