Finally a Good news Story. A chartered flight of international students arrived in Australia yesterday. Hopefully, the first of many to come.
📰 GOOD NEWS STORY: The first pilot program to bring international students back to Australia began yesterday with the arrival of 63 international students at Darwin International Airport. These students, the first to arrive in Australia since March, are now in 14 day Quarantine at the Howard Springs Quarantine facility.
Arriving from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia, the students will commence or recommence theirs studies with Charles Darwin University upon completing their mandatory quarantine 📚
The successful arrival of international students in Darwin will soon be replicated in others states with NSW and the ACT expected to submit their plans for the return of international students to the Federal Government this week. Hopefully more great news to follow soon 🤞
