Muitas pessoas estão a receber indeferimento final com abandono voluntário — e não sabem exatamente por quê.
A verdade é que, na maioria dos casos, o problema está na falta de cumprimento de requisitos básicos:
👉 Permanência fora de Portugal por período superior ao permitido: identificado através do passaporte integral e movimentos migratórios.
👉 Meios de subsistência que não cumprem os critérios legais, conforme Portaria n.º 1563/2007, de 11 de dezembro.
👉 Falta de comprovação válida de alojamento: contrato registado nas Finanças ou declaração do senhorio com assinatura reconhecida + caderneta predial.
⚠️ E há um ponto ainda mais grave: Essa situação está a atingir inclusive menores, em processos de reagrupamento familiar ou estudos, quando os responsáveis não comprovam corretamente estes requisitos.

Many people are receiving a final refusal with voluntary departure — and they don’t fully understand why.
The truth is that, in most cases, the issue lies in the failure to meet basic legal requirements:
👉 Staying outside Portugal for longer than permitted: identified through the full passport and migration records.
👉 Means of subsistence that do not comply with legal requirements, in accordance with Ordinance No. 1563/2007, of December 11.
👉 Lack of valid proof of accommodation: a lease contract registered with the Tax Authority or a landlord’s declaration with a notarized signature, together with the property registry document.

This situation is also affecting minors, in family reunification or study cases, when the legal guardians fail to properly prove these requirements.
