Made it to Puerto Rico today! đľđˇâď¸
Iâm starting a week-long adventure across the island - on Bad Bunny Day, I mean, Super Bowl Sunday - and I wanted to kick things off by sharing a "why" behind how I travelâand how I invest.
Whenever I have the choice, I pick a boutique stay over a regular hotel every time. Don't get me wrong, big resorts have their amenities, but they canât compete with the feeling of texting the owner, letting them know Iâm on my way, and knowing itâs like talking to a friend. đąđ¤
There is something pretty neat about a friendly face and true familiarity. Itâs personal. Itâs intentional. And itâs exactly how I like to do business.
The First Stop: Santurce
Before I make the cross-island trek to RincĂłn (and our own little boutique spot, Puntas Treehouse), I always spend a night in San Juan. Specifically, Iâm headed to Hotel Luz.
Why?
1. The Vibe: Santurce has this incredible artsy, historical energy that you just don't get inside a resort wall.
2. The Person: I know the owner, Marc Weiss. I know the room will be fresh and comfortable, but more importantly, I know Marc will be there.
Staying here allows me to explore my curiosities and see what Marc is up to as he grows his portfolio in PR. Weâll catch up on all things real estate, and that is how I bring real value to the PR Market Report I publish on LinkedIn. đ
I stay "in the know" by being on the ground with real people doing real things. That insight and hospitality blows a stay at a Marriott or Hilton out of the water every day of the week.
Stay Tuned...
Iâll be documenting my entire trip. Iâm going to introduce you to a few friends Iâll be leaning on this year as Go Beyond San Juan comes to life. đ´
My goal? To show you what investing in real estate on a Caribbean island is actually like. Maybe Iâll pique your interest enough that youâll want to join me for one of my upcoming immersive learning sessions. In real life. On-island. With the people making it happen.
See you in San Juan! âď¸
