established in 2007 by Grzegorz Woźniak, a graduate of Warsaw University, who acquired his professional experience with Allen & Overy Warsaw, where he worked for 14 years and was involved in many transactions and litigation cases prior to leaving in 2007. In 2012, responding to client demand, the firm started dealing with property restitution cases and a broad range of private client issues including wealth management, succession planning, reputation protection, family law, private banking and immigration. In 2016 the firm was ranked Top Tier by the Legal 500 as one of the two best law firms in Poland in the private client category. This was the first time that the Legal 500 had carried out research in Poland in this category, finding that “the professional Grzegorz Woźniak and efficient and knowledgeable senior associate Grzegorz Dudek are highly recommended...”. In 2017 the firm was awarded Band 1 by the Chambers & Partners legal directory as one of the three best law firms in Poland in the private client (HNW) category. According to the legal guide: “a one-stop shop for private clients, Woźniak Legal provides a broad range of services including tax planning, succession planning, wealth management and charitable matters.” Grzegorz Woźniak and Grzegorz Dudek have been recommended as some of the best private client lawyers in Poland. The Legal 500 in year 2017 also ranked Woźniak Legal as a Top Tier law firm in the private client category. In August 2017 the firm was also shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in International Legal Services’ award by the Law Society of England and Wales (as the only Polish law firm in the competition) for creating an international network of lawyers who worked together at Allen & Overy.
