Responsibilities:
– preparing drafts of legal documents and opinions,

Requirements:
- status of an attorney trainee (I–III year),
- excellent knowledge of civil and economic law,

We are pleased to announce the successful outcome of our dispute with the Polish Development Fund (PFR).

The PFR demanded the return of financial support granted under a government programme, based on an overly restrictive interpretation of the eligibility criteria. Many would assume that challenging a state-backed institution would be futile. However, this is often an incorrect assumption.

Thanks to the favourable judgment, our client is not required to return over PLN 300,000.

We successfully argued that the PFR’s position lacked sufficient legal basis. The court agreed.

This case serves as a reminder that businesses should not automatically accept unfavourable decisions, particularly those from public institutions. Authority does not equal infallibility. Even when the odds seem low, a precise legal strategy can produce a different outcome.

Your rights are enforceable. The key is being willing to defend them.

In legal practice, there are moments when experience and deep courtroom insight suggest that the court may not see things our way.
Yet there are times when one principle prevails: our duty to the client is to fight to the very end — regardless of the odds.

The right to a fair trial does not disappear when “realistic chances” seem to fade.
Sometimes, in every case, you simply have to go all the way and keep fighting.

Once again, we successfully reopened a case closed several years ago — despite the odds being firmly against us.
This result would not have been possible without the determination, perseverance, and unwavering commitment of attorney Piotr Piechocki.

It is a powerful reminder that standing firm in defense of our clients’ rights always matters — especially when the path appears closed. ⚖️
