Cyfryzacja procedur pobytowych – ważne zmiany!

Wczoraj (17.03) Urząd ds. Cudzoziemców zapowiedział📢 spodziewane od dawna wejście w życie systemu MOS2 i pełna digitalizacje procedur legalizacyjnych!

Od końca 2025 r. wprowadzono obowiązkowe elektroniczne składanie wniosków o zezwolenie na pobyt – wyłącznie przez system MOS.

👉 Co to oznacza w praktyce?
✔️ konieczność posiadania konta w systemie MOS i logowania przez login.gov.pl
✔️ wypełnienie i podpisanie wniosku online - konieczność posiadania podpisu elektronicznego!
✔️ załączenie dokumentów w formie cyfrowej
✔️ UPO zamiast potwierdzenia papierowego
✔️ zaświadczenie z systemu zamiast stempla w paszporcie

📌 Nadal konieczna będzie wizyta w urzędzie (odciski palców + podpis).

🗓️ Start systemu planowany: połowa kwietnia 2026 (dokładna data wkrótce).

❗ Przypominamy: od 1.01.2026 PESEL tylko po osobistej wizycie – niezbędny do profilu zaufanego i podpisu elektronicznego.

📢 Digitization of residence procedures – important changes!

Yesterday (March 17), the Office for Foreigners announced 📢 the long-awaited launch of the MOS2 system and full digitalization of legalization procedures!

Since the end of 2025, submitting residence permit applications electronically has become mandatory – exclusively via the MOS system.

👉 What does this mean in practice?
✔️ requirement to have an account in the MOS system and log in via login.gov.pl
✔️ completing and signing the application online – an electronic signature is required!
✔️ attaching documents in digital form
✔️ official receipt (UPO) instead of paper confirmation
✔️ certificate from the system instead of a passport stamp

📌 A visit to the office will still be required (fingerprints + signature).

🗓️ System launch planned: mid-April 2026 (exact date to be announced soon).

❗ Reminder: since January 1, 2026, a PESEL number can only be obtained in person – it is required to create a trusted profile and sign the application electronically.

👉 It is worth already taking these changes into account when planning residence legalization!

📈 Poland on the rise: a record demand for Polish citizenship

According to TVP World, Poland is experiencing a massive surge in citizenship applications. This isn’t just a trend - it’s a historical record that highlights the growing global prestige of the Polish passport.

📍A massive leap: In 2024, over 16,600 people were granted Polish citizenship—an increase of nearly 37% compared to the previous year. For perspective, these numbers were three times lower just a decade ago.
