Respected Chief Minister of Punjab,
We, the residents of Tehsil Shakargarh, wish to bring to your kind attention a critical transportation gap in our border region.
Shakargarh is a remote area where hundreds of low-income workers, daily wage earners, and students travel daily to Narowal for work and education.
Currently, there is no reasonable or affordable public bus service on this route, leaving the local population at the mercy of expensive and unsafe private transport.
While a railway service was previously promised to the people of Shakargarh to connect us with Narowal, it has yet to be realized.
Under your leadership and the "Green Punjab" initiative, we have seen modern electric buses transforming transport in other tehsils. We humbly request that Shakargarh-Narowal be prioritized for the next phase of this rollout. An electric bus service۔
