ن۔ fact witness سے وقت (time) establish کرنے کے لیے سوال کیا جا سکتا ہے، چاہے وہ سوال عین اس کی previous testimony کا حصہ نہ بھی ہو—لیکن سوال کا relevance اہم ہے۔

مثلاً اگر witness کسی واقعے کا عینی گواہ ہے اور آپ یہ establish کرنا چاہتے ہیں کہ واقعہ کس وقت ہوا، تو پوچھ سکتے ہیں:

آپ وہاں تقریباً کس وقت پہنچے تھے؟”
یا:

جب آپ نے یہ واقعہ دیکھا، اس وقت تقریباً کیا وقت تھا؟

یا اگر وہ کسی دوسرے واقعے سے وقت یاد کر رہا ہو:
آپ کو وقت کا اندازہ کس بنیاد پر ہوا؟

اگر سوال صرف وقت establish کرنے کے لیے ہے اور وہ case کے facts سے relevant ہے تو generally مناسب ہے۔
لیکن اگر سوال witness کی testimony سے بالکل unrelated ہے اور صرف کسی random وقت کو establish کرنے کے لیے ہے، تو opposing counsel relevance پر objection کر سکتا ہے۔

Doctrine of Legitimate Expectation

The Doctrine of Legitimate Expectation is a key principle in administrative law. It protects people or groups when a public authority (like a government department or agency) creates a reasonable expectation through its promises, policies, past practices, or clear representations — and then suddenly changes course in an unfair way.

Exampl(Simple Real-Life Illustration):

Imagine a local government announces a new scheme: "We will provide free solar panels and installation to 500 low-income households in your area who apply by December 31. First-come, first-served."

Many families rely on this announcement. They stop saving for panels, cancel other plans, and submit applications.

Later, without any notice or reason, the government suddenly cancels the scheme for everyone or changes the rules drastically (e.g., only 50 households now qualify).

Just like some countries have Christianity or Buddhism as their state religion, Pakistan has Islam as its state religion.
It gives the country an Islamic identity.

What Article 1 Actually Says (in Simple Words):

1. What is Pakistan?
Pakistan is a Federal Republic.
Its full official name is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
(Just like we say "Pakistan" in daily life.)

2. What areas make up Pakistan?
Pakistan's land includes:
The four big provinces:
Punjab
Sindh
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)
Balochistan

The Islamabad Capital Territory (this is the Federal Capital where the main government sits).
Plus any other states or areas that may join Pakistan in the future (by agreement or any other way).

3. Can Pakistan grow bigger?
Yes! The Parliament (called Majlis-e-Shoora) has the power to add new areas or new states into Pakistan whenever it passes a law for it.
