Police School of Investigation.
On 13th September 2024.
Today, the Police School of Investigation in Mera Kachori, Peshawar, marked the successful culmination of the Core Investigation Skills Course with a commemorative ceremony.
Dedicated Police officers from various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa actively participated in these enriching courses. At the ceremony, SP Pir Zar Badshah, the Director of the Police School of Investigation, extended gratitude to the diligent trainees for their remarkable dedication. He also provided a succinct overview of the course content, emphasizing its relevance in modern investigative practices and stressed the crucial role of specialized investigative training in today's law enforcement landscape. He highlighted the necessity of aligning police training with contemporary requirements, particularly in areas such as crime scene preservation, evidence collection, and proficient case documentation to ensure successful prosecution.
Mr. Dr.Muhammad akhtar Abbas, the Additional Inspector General of Training for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reaffirmed the Police School of Investigation's commitment to delivering comprehensive training to law enforcement officers. He emphasized that the school's mandate extends beyond serving the provincial police force, with its facilities also supporting training initiatives for other esteemed institutions including the Pakistan Air Force, Excise, Railway Police, and the Customs Department.
Trainees at the Police School of Investigation are encouraged to translate their theoretical knowledge into practical application, fostering a culture of fairness and efficiency in serving the public through diligent investigations.
In conclusion, the Director congratulated all the participant on successfully completing the courses and distributed certificates to mark their achievements.
