International Chicago Labor Confederation (ICLC) is a distinctive labor organization in Pakistan striving for the legitimate rights of laborers, workers and public servants (LWS) exclusively. International Chicago Labor Confederation (Pakistan Chapter) was established on 23rd March, 2005 by Dr Muhammad Azam Arrain as its founder Chairman. t May, 2005 on the eve of World Labor Day. On 27th December 2007, ICLC commended to bestow Gold Medals to commemorate the relentless services of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for maintenance and revival of democracy and to safeguard the legitimate rights of workers, laborers and servants (LWS). ICLC Awards and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Gold Medals are conferred to the legends and celebrities of society representing politicians, media (electronic & Print), clerks, teachers, nurses, sweepers, para-medical staff, doctors, lawyers, laborers, workers and public servants every year. In 2015, First Research Award was pioneered for young Scholars in the field of research to eradicate poverty and transform socio-economic life of deprived and depressed segments of society. Dr Muhammad Azam Arrain as Chairman International Chicago Labor Confederation (Pakistan Chapter) possesses distinction to set world level record by granting awards to LWS segments of society since a decade incessantly. In 2014, on the occasion of 10th Annual Award Ceremony/ World Labor Day, Dr Azam Arrain (Chairman) proudly heralded First National Labor Assembly and Labor Senate which were referred as the First Labor Assembly of the world. First Shadow Cabinet was also launched in 2015 to analyze the public policies for the entire welfare of the working segments of society in Pakistan. International Chicago Labor Confederation (Pakistan Chapter) has articulated Charter of ICLC since 2015 in accordance with the will of the poor and all working classes of society. The Charter has fourteen guiding principles for the members of the Labor Assembly (MLA’s) and the Shadow Cabinet.
