وفاقی شرعی عدالت نے پنجاب فیملی کورٹس ایکٹ 1964 کی دفعہ 10 کی ذیلی دفعات 5 اور 6 کالعدم قرار دے دیں جن کے مطابق خلع لینے کے باوجود بھی خاتون کو معجل حق مہر کے 75 فیصد اور غیر معجل حق مہر کے 50 فیصد کا حقدار قرار دیا گیا تھا۔
