An internal memo drafted by the Operations, Planning and Performance department of IRCC claims to grant 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship this fiscal year i.e., 2022 - 2023

It was recommended by a senior official that the IRCC should process a total of 285,000 decisions and 300,000 new citizens by March 31, 2023. This means that 300,000 approved applicants must take the oath of citizenship. The oath may be taken remotely or in person.

British Columbia invited a total of 364 candidates in its PNP draw on October 12th out of which 320 candidates were invited from a general draw. The minimum SIRS score requirement was of 78 for entry level and semi skilled candidates.

Canada invites candidates in its latest Express Entry draw.

Canada held its latest all-program Express Entry draw on October 12th, 2022 which was marked as the eighth all-program draw ever since they resumed from July 6th. Canada invited 4,250 candidates with a minimum CRS score requirement of 500 points. The programs included in the draw were:

1. Canadian Experience Class
2. Federal Skilled Worker Program
3. Federal Skilled Trades Program

Ontario and British Columbia announced its latest PNP draw results.

Ontario invited a total of 1,340 candidates through its PNP program on September 29th from the “Express Entry Skilled Trades” stream. The minimum CRS score requirement was 266 points and eligible candidates were required to have a CLB score of 5 or higher in English or French.

British Columbia invited 299 candidates on October 4th. The minimum SIRS score ranged between 82 for entry level or semi skilled candidates, to 120 for skilled workers.
