The court fined a tailor thousands of rupees for not making an Eid suit in Karachi. In its decision, the court said that the tailor should pay the cost of the unstitched suit and also pay the cost of buying a new suit to the petitioner. According to the details, Judge Fahmida Sahowal of Consumer Court Sharqi in Karachi gave a decision on the request not to give the suit on the occasion of Eid. Tailor Fahim neither appeared in the court nor did any lawyer appear on his behalf.
In the judgment, the court said that the tailor should pay the cost of the unstitched suit and pay the amount spent on buying a new suit to the applicant as well as travel charges. Also pay a fine of Rs. 15000
