Bail Granted, Family Reunited
A few weeks ago, I took up a pro bono case of a man facing serious allegations under two FIRs—one under Sections 324 and 353 of the Pakistan Penal Code, and another under Section 23(I)(A).
Despite the challenging nature of the case, I appeared for his bail. After presenting detailed arguments before the court, bail was granted. However, the surety amount was too high for his wife to arrange.
I filed an application for reduction of surety, and after further arguments, the court graciously allowed a 50% reduction.
Today, that man walked out of jail and met his wife and daughter after a year and a half.
Justice is not just about verdicts—it's about restoring lives and reuniting families.
