Another Milestone in Mediation Excellence | Dual Certified in Civil & Commercial Mediation

I am proud to share that I have now successfully completed two international 40-Hour Civil & Commercial Mediation Trainings—marking a significant progression in my mediation career:
1. February 2025 – Certified by ADR ODR International Limited (UK)
2. May 2025 – Certified by The ADRi Initiative in collaboration with Crowther Mediation Ltd (UK)

With this dual certification, I am formally recognized as an ADRI–Crowther Accredited Mediator, further solidifying my position as a Triple Accredited Mediator (IMI | SIMI | CMC UK).

These credentials are not just academic milestones—they represent my continued dedication to advancing structured, principled, and internationally aligned mediation practices, particularly in jurisdictions like Pakistan, where adversarial litigation still prevails.

As a Certified Director (PICG–SECP Recognized) and a Barrister-at-Law (Lincoln’s Inn, London), I advocate for a legal future rooted in collaborative justice, strategic dialogue, and institutional ADR frameworks.

In today’s complex and high-stakes dispute environment, organizations, regulators, and professionals must invest in:
• Trained neutrals and ADR professionals
• Robust institutional mediation mechanisms
• Governance models that encourage non-adversarial resolution

I remain fully committed to supporting this paradigm shift—through boardroom leadership, institutional panels, and policy-level mediation reform.

Sincere thanks to our distinguished trainers Syed Akbar Hussain, Mehak Zaraq Bari and Nicola Crowther for delivering a powerful and enriching learning experience.

Honored to Attend: Bridging the Climate Gap - Mediation and Climate-Conscious Lawyering

Today, I had the privilege of attending a truly insightful and future-oriented webinar organized by the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), in collaboration with the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) and the Institute of Business Administration(IBA Karachi).

Bridging the Climate Gap: Mediation and Climate-Conscious Lawyering brought together some of the finest minds, including:
• Dr. Abid Qaiyum Suleri Qaiyum Suleri, Executive Director, SDPI
• Mr. Justice Jawad Hassan, Lahore High Court
• Emily Morison, Project Lawyer, International Bar Association (IBA)
• Mr. Omar Soomro, Former Minister for Law, Government of Sindh
• Judge Sufiyan Rana, District Judge, England & Wales
• Judge Barrister Ghazan Mahmood District Judge, England & Wales
• Moderators: Syed Bulent Sohail (Managing Partner, Sohail & Partners LLP) and Barrister Sarah Kazmi (IHCBA)

The session powerfully emphasized the urgent need for climate-conscious legal frameworks and the transformative role of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), especially mediation, in promoting environmental justice, efficient conflict resolution, and sustainable legal reforms.

As famously said,

“An ounce of mediation is worth a pound of arbitration and a ton of litigation.”
This resonates even more today as we strive to resolve complex climate-related disputes with speed, collaboration, and fairness.

I am deeply thankful to SDPI, the distinguished speakers, moderators, and the organizing team for this thought-provoking experience. Events like these reaffirm the vital connection between law, mediation, environmental stewardship, and constitutional rights.

Looking forward to continuing this journey toward a greener, more just future through mediation and climate-responsive legal innovations.

IMI - International Mediation Institute،
Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI)،
اور
Civil Mediation Council (CMC) UK
