⚠️ Public Awareness Post ⚠️ This is our account of what happened, and we are sharing it to warn others. We allege that (Jhanzaib Nawaz Afridi), CEO of Nawaz Motors, stole our vehicle from outside our home on 8 June 2026 at around 4:00 AM by using a duplicate remote. He allegedly drove the car until around 2:30 PM the following day and then handed it over to Friends Rent A Car (DHA Phase 2) on a one-month rental. According to our information, he received Rs. 40,000 as an advance and also rented a Kia Sportage. On 9 June 2026, we recovered our vehicle from DHA. At that time, a young man and a young woman were inside the car. They told us they had rented it from Friends Rent A Car. Using the rented Sportage, we traced Jhanzaib Nawaz Afridi to an Airbnb in Bahria Town, Karachi. After locating him, he allegedly tried to escape through a washroom window, climbed onto the rooftop, and hid inside a water tank before he was found. When we checked our vehicle, we found that Rs. 1,350,000 in cash and two Oshan X7 invoices were missing. The biggest lesson from this incident is that trust should be given carefully. We treated this person with respect and kindness, but according to our experience, that trust was betrayed. We are sharing our experience so others stay alert and think carefully before placing their trust in anyone. Please stay vigilant and share this post to help raise awareness.
