Bahria University Law Moot Society (BULMS) proudly celebrates its team’s performance at the Young Lawyers Association Moot Court Competition, where the team advanced to the Quarter-Finals and received the special Spirit of Mooting Award.

Representing BULMS, Hussain Karrar, Yusra Tahir, and Javeria Khan demonstrated dedication, teamwork, and a commendable spirit of advocacy under the guidance of their coach, Mugheera Rehman.

The Inception | Where Your Mooting Journey Begins ⚖️

Bahria University Law Moot Society (BULMS) proudly introduces The Inception, a new initiative designed to provide law students with regular opportunities to learn and practise the art of mooting in a structured, supportive, and non-competitive environment.

From studying a moot problem and conducting legal research to preparing written submissions and pleading before a panel, The Inception offers students the opportunity to experience the complete mooting process while receiving constructive feedback and developing their advocacy skills. With recurring cycles throughout the academic year, the initiative aims to make mooting a continuous journey of learning, practice, and growth at BULMS.

Because every great mooter has to begin somewhere. ⚖️✨

18th Henry Dunant Moot Court Competition

Bahria University Law Moot Society (BULMS) proudly represented Bahria University at the 18th Henry Dunant Moot Court Competition, with Team BULMS comprising Naqiyah Saifuddin, Haseebullah, and Haniya Zuha, coached by Aitzaz W. Abbasi.

Following a competitive written submission phase, the team was among the 25 teams selected from across Pakistan to proceed to the interview phase. After a rigorous selection process, only 12 teams advanced to the oral rounds, where the team represented Bahria University at the Shangrila Resort, Murree. Adding to the team’s achievement, Naqiyah Saifuddin was awarded 2nd Best Speaker of the competition.

A journey marked by rigorous preparation, strong advocacy, and another valuable experience on the national mooting circuit. Proud of our team for representing BULMS with distinction.

From BULMS to Erasmus 🌍⚖️

From representing BULMS on prestigious international platforms to pursuing advanced studies in international law, our alumnus Habibullah continues to carry the spirit of excellence beyond Bahria.

During his time at BULMS, Habibullah served as Vice Chief Executive and Special Advisor to the Head of BULMS, representing the Society in competitions including the Jean-Pictet Competition, Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, Nuremberg Moot Court Competition, and City Bank-BIAC International Inter-University Arbitration Contest, while also adjudicating major moot court competitions.

He is now pursuing the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in International Law of Security, Peace and Sustainable Development (ILSPSD) — a 24-month programme spanning leading European universities, beginning at Luphana University of Lüneburg, continues at Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI), and concluding at the University of Glasgow, with a multidisciplinary focus on international law, security, peace, human rights, and sustainable development.

From BULMS to Erasmus 🌍⚖️

From representing BULMS on prestigious international platforms to pursuing advanced studies in international law, our alumnus Habibullah continues to carry the spirit of excellence beyond Bahria.

During his time at BULMS, Habibullah represented the Society in competitions including the Jean-Pictet Competition, Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, Nuremberg Moot Court Competition, and City Bank-BIAC International Inter-University Arbitration Contest, alongside contributing to the organisation and adjudication of major moot court competitions.

He is now pursuing the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in International Law of Security, Peace and Sustainable Development (ILSPSD) — a 24-month programme spanning leading European universities, with a multidisciplinary focus on international law, security, peace, human rights and sustainable development. The programme combines international mobility with legal clinics, work placements, guest lectures and practitioner engagement.
