Barrister Usama Malik Director/Head, Directorate of Legal Education inspected several LAW-GAT examination centres in Lahore which is a mandatory test for getting a license to practice as an advocate. Senior Consultant HEC was also present. The test was being conducted in a conducive environment. The integrity and quality of this test is essential to raise standards of our legal community.

The Hon.Chief Justice of Pakistan launched an E course for training of young lawyers developed by the Federal Judicial Academy and Directorate of Legal Education PBC. The launch ceremony was attended by Hon. Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb Judge Supreme Court, Pir Masood Chisti, Vice Chairperson Pakistan Bar Council along with Barrister Usama Malik Director (DLE) and Vice Chairpersons of provincial/Islamabad bar councils. The representatives of bar councils greatly appreciated this initiative and commended the efforts of Directorate of Legal Education and Federal Judicial Academy.
