Job Title: Software & AI Project/Product Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Software & AI Project/Product Manager to lead our software and AI development initiatives in Pakistan. This role involves managing the IT and Software teams, coordinating project activities, and working closely with the CEO to plan and execute strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to translate the CEO’s vision into actionable plans. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning to final delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Management:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all projects meet their goals and timelines.
- Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with the IT and Software development teams to ensure seamless ex*****on of tasks.
- Monitor project progress, address issues, and provide regular updates to the CEO.
2. Direct Collaboration with the CEO:
- Plan and strategize project goals, timelines, and deliverables directly with the CEO.
- Work closely with the CEO to translate business objectives into detailed project and product strategies.
- Ensure that all project initiatives align with the CEO’s vision and the company’s strategic goals.
3. Team Building with the CEO:
- Collaborate with the CEO in building, developing, and strengthening the IT and Software teams.
- Assist in identifying key talent needs, participating in the hiring process, and fostering a cohesive team environment.
- Support the CEO in creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
4. Product Development:
- Translate the CEO's vision into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
- Define and manage product requirements, prioritizing features based on business impact and technical feasibility.
- Guide the development team in building scalable, user-centric software and AI products.
- Ensure that the product meets the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and feedback loops.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT and Software teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Conduct regular meetings with the team to track progress, address challenges, and share feedback.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency within the team.
6. AI & Software Integration:
- Oversee the integration of AI technologies into software products, ensuring they enhance functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with data scientists and developers to optimize AI models for performance and scalability.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and software development to incorporate best practices and emerging technologies.
7. Ex*****on & Delivery:
- Ensure the successful delivery of all projects, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate risks, making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the CEO’s expectations and are aligned with the company’s objectives.
8. Communication & Reporting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the CEO and the project teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Provide the CEO with detailed project reports, including status updates, key metrics, and any potential issues.
- Act as an advisor to the CEO on technical aspects of projects and product development.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in software and AI project/product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of software development processes, AI technologies, and agile methodologies.
- Leadership: Experience leading technical teams, with a focus on collaboration and results.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Urdu is advantageous.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
