Yesterday, we sat together at the Court-Annexed Mediation Centre within the Family Courts premises at G-10 (Old High Court, Chief Justice Block). Our discussion focused on the recently introduced Mediation Practice Direction Rules and the *Consent Form.* This form will be presented to parties involved in litigation to secure their consent for referring their case to mediation.
In the coming months, we anticipate witnessing litigating parties gathering around a table, engaging in face-to-face discussions, expressing their concerns in their own words, and attentively listening to the opposing side.
I eagerly await the upcoming shift towards a culture of negotiation and conciliation.
