Powers under S. 22-A (6), Cr. P. C. are

discretionary and not mandatory in

nature--If in estimation oJ Ex-officio

Justice of Peace, cognizable offence has

been comntitted, he may issue directions

for registrations of a crilminal case but he

cannot be made bound to pass such

direction---Law expects him to apply

judicious conscious while passing such order and not to pass stereo style order in haste

Complaint under Illegal Dispossession Act, 2005-Offenders that could be prosecuted under Illegal Dispossession Act, 2005 could not be restricted to only those who possessed the credentials and antecedents of 'land grabbers' Oabza Group.-Provisions of S. 3 of the Illegal Dispossession Act of 2005 clearly demonstrated that whosoever committed the act of illegal dispossession, as described in the said Act against a lawful owner or a lawful occupier, he could be prosecuted under its provisions withou any restriction.
