Mga kababayan,

I do not know Rodulfo Gracioso Jr., nor have I ever received any money from him.

My lawyers are awaiting an official copy of the Gracioso affidavit from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) so they can begin working on the cases to be filed against him.

Once we are done dismantling the lies contained in his testimony, it will end up in the trash bin—just like the one from Ramil Madriaga.

This is nothing more than another media stunt, an attempt to breathe life into a faltering impeachment case.

The desperation of the administration to bring me down, push for Charter Change, prevent the 2028 elections, and cling to power is becoming increasingly diabolical.

The people want Marcos to take a public drug test. The people want Marcos to answer for the flood control scandal. The people want change.

No amount of political maneuvering, propaganda, or manufactured distractions can ultimately silence the Filipino people.

PAHAYAG

Malinaw ang Article XI, Section 3(6) ng Saligang Batas. Ang botong kinakailangan for conviction sa impeachment ay 2/3 ng lahat ng miyembro ng Senado. Hindi lang 2/3 ng mga Senador na kayang makadalo sa pagdinig, lalo na’t tahasang pinipigilan ng administrasyong Marcos ang malayang pakikilahok ng mga Senador na tutol sa kanilang agenda, sa pamamagitan ng pananakot ng kaso at pagkakakulong.

24 ang ating mga Senador, kaya ang 2/3 nito ay 16. Ang desisyon ng Senado na pababain ito ay maliwanag na paglabag sa Saligang Batas, hindi lamang dahil walang kapangyarihan ang Senado na gawin ito, kundi dahil isa din itong pagyurak ng karapatan ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa due process, partikular na ang mahatulan ng isang patas at walang kinikilingang hukuman. Dahil dito, nawalan na ng ligal at moral na awtoridad ang Senate Impeachment Court na ipagpatuloy ang kaso.

Maliwanag din ang dahilan. Harap-harapan nilang binabaluktot ang batas dahil hindi nila kayang talunin si VP Sara sa patas na laban sa impeachment man, o sa halalan sa 2028. Pilit nilang ginagawa ito dahil umiiwas sila sa napipintong pananagutan sa mga kawalanghiyaan nila sa bayan, dahil alam nilang “1 million% hindi maaareglo” si VP Sara.

Sa mga Senador na nagbubulag-bulagan sa mga realidad na ito, kasama kayo sa problema ng ating bansa. Nawa’y maging maawain sa inyo ang Diyos, ang taumbayan, at ang kasaysayan, sapagkat muling isinuko ninyo, para sa sariling kapakanan, ang kasarinlan ng Senado at ang demokrasya ng ating bansa sa panibagong diktaturyang Marcos.

Sa mga Senador na tumindig sa tama, nawa’y gaya ni VP Sara, ay maging payapa kayo sa isipan na isang karangalan ang unahin ang bayan bago ang sarili, at labanan ang mali. Talo man tayo sa ngayon, hinding hindi magwawaging tuluyan ang kasamaan, lalo na’t kasama natin ang taumbayan.

Mas “malinaw pa” daw “sa sikat ng araw” na pinagbabawalan ng Saligang Batas si VP Sara na magkaroon ng financial interest o shares sa pribadong kompanya? “Mind-boggling” daw na hindi napayuhan si VP Sara na bawal ito? Where is the same energy for former President Cory Aquino, former Vice President Leni Robredo, and President Bongbong Marcos Jr.?

Based on publicly available SALNs and reports:

Former President Cory Aquino consistently declared at least in her 1989, 1990, and 1992 SALNs that she was a shareholder or investor of 11-12 corporations.

Former Vice President Leni Robredo reportedly declared in her 2022 SALN that she is a shareholder of MERALCO and Rockwell Land.

President Bongbong Marcos Jr. has consistently declared in his SALNs as President that he has business interests in or a financial connection to Araca Resources Corporation and El Paraiso Farms, Inc.

Kahit bali-baliktarin mo ang Article VII, Section 13 ng Saligang Batas, walang sinasabi doon na bawal magkaroon ng business o financial interest ang President, Vice President, or cabinet members sa anumang pribadong kumpanya. Kung malinaw na bawal, eh di sana sinunod ito ni President Cory Aquino, ang kauna-unahang Pangulo ng bansa sa ilalim ng 1987 Constitution. Ngayon, porket Duterte iba na ang timpla.

ON RAPPLER'S MISLEADING REPORTING

Rappler’s characterization of Gencorp Industries Inc. (Gencorp) in the headline of its article dated September 15, 2026 as “Sara Duterte’s company” is misleading and irresponsible.

Gencorp is not her company. It is owned by business people who have been in the food industry since the 1990s.

Rappler’s own article acknowledges that the corporate records it examined do not list the Vice President as an officer or shareholder of Gencorp. Yet its headline conveniently abandons that distinction and presents the company to the public as though it belongs to her.

If Rappler wishes to scrutinize government contracts awarded to Gencorp, it is free to do so. But scrutiny does not excuse distortion. There is a significant difference between saying that the Vice President disclosed an interest in a company and declaring that it is “Sara Duterte’s company.” Journalism should inform the public, not mislead it through a sensational headline that goes beyond what its own reported facts establish.

As this matter is already before the Senate Impeachment Court, we will go no further and let the evidence at trial speak for itself.
