🚨 Umbrella System is Prohibited: What VAS Permit holders and DTIPs Must Know

Under the Konektadong Pinoy Act and the latest NTC Memorandum Circular, permit sharing or “umbrella arrangements” are strictly prohibited.

If you are a VAS provider now classified as a DTIP, or planning to enter the data transmission industry, take note:

❌ You cannot allow another operator to use your registration.
❌ Regulatory authority is non-transferable.
❌ Each entity must secure its own authorization and comply independently.

Section 12 of the latest NTC issuance reinforces that registration cannot be assigned, leased, or used by another entity.

Avoid enforcement risks. Operate on your own authority.
