CFO Marks Sixth Consecutive Year of Receiving Unmodified COA Audit Opinion

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) has once again received an Unmodified Audit Opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for Fiscal Year 2025, marking the agency's sixth consecutive year of earning the highest audit opinion from the country's constitutional audit institution. This also represents the CFO's seventh unmodified audit opinion in the last eight years, reflecting the agency's sustained commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound financial management.

An Unmodified Audit Opinion is the highest audit opinion issued by COA. It signifies that an agency's financial statements are presented fairly, in all material respects, in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework and government accounting standards.

The recognition highlights the CFO's consistent adherence to the principles of good governance, prudent fiscal management, and responsible stewardship of public resources. It likewise reflects the collective dedication, professionalism, and integrity of the agency's officials and personnel in ensuring that public funds are managed efficiently and in accordance with established laws, rules, and regulations.

All PHLPost Offices nationwide will remain OPEN and fully operational today, Monday, 10 August 2026, despite the implementation of work-from-home arrangements in government offices under Memorandum Circular No. 123.

We will continue to provide essential services and all Post Offices will observe regular business hours.

𝗖𝗙𝗢 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | 𝗪𝗙𝗛 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗡 𝟭𝟬 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

In accordance with Memorandum Circular 123, 𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 at the CFO Main Office in Pasay City, CFO Extension Office in Baguio City, and CFO airport desks at NAIA Terminals 1 and 3 and Clark International Airport will be suspended on Monday, 10 August 2026, due to continued heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

A skeletal workforce will be maintained at the CFO Main Office in Pasay City to ensure the continuity of essential services.

Regular onsite operations will resume on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.
