David Buenaventura & Ang Law Offices (DBA Law) was originally founded as David and Cui-David Law Office in the turn of the millennium by spouses Attys. Stephen L. David and Lanee S. Cui-David. They served as truly remarkable pillars of the firm and set the standards of excellence, later to be practiced as a tradition in the firm.
Atty. Stephen L. David, apart from being a decorated lawyer, is also a Civil Engineer with completed units in Masters Degree in Mathematics. Meanwhile, Atty. Lanee S. Cui-David is a Certified Public Accountant who has served as counsel for numerous top-tier corporations.
In 2003, the firm expanded its practice with the addition of Atty. Leonardo Tamayo, transforming it to David Tamayo and Cui-David Law Office. By this time, the firm has further solidified its reputation as one of the most promising firms in the legal scene.
In 2007, Atty. Leonardo Tamayo took his leave from the firm. This paved the way for the entry of Atty. Dennis G. Buenaventura and Atty. Ronald S. Ang, thereby expanding the firm to David Cui-David Buenaventura & Ang Law Offices. Atty. Dennis is a former classmate of spouses Attys. Stephen and Lanee in San Beda University (formerly San Beda College). He was also the former Chief of Staff in the Office of Sen. Francisco S. Tatad in 1995. Atty. Ronald, meanwhile, served as a former consultant in the Office of Senator Edgardo J. Angara. He was seated as a Representative of AKO BICOL Party list during the 17th Congress.
In 2016, Atty. Lanee S. Cui-David, by virtue of an appointment made by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, pursued a career in government service as a Deputy Commissioner of the Information Systems Group under the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Hence, transitioning the firm to what it is known today.
At present, DBA Law is at its best form. With ten young and firebrand lawyer-associates, complemented by a competent administrative and support staff, the firm's practice has expanded to criminal and civil litigation, corporate dealings, arbitration law, labor law, entertainment law, and the laws on land titles and deeds, to name a few.
With all the changes that DBA Law had undergone in its twenty (20) years of existence, one thing has remained constant - the firm's fervent desire to deliver service par excellence.
