As a birdguide for Palawan, a bird photographer and wildlife conservationist, this endemic species is among the elusive and hard to see and observe avian treasures in Palawan, though there are times that a certain individual on a right timing and season, may appear close but stay very still and quiet on a perch. It is a rare opportunity to encounter such experience.

My July 16-19 Birding Trip with Sir Derek Chan and the group from Hongkong, althogh birds are not easy to see this season, we still manage to see a lot of endemics, and some are remarkably good views and photographic distance.. Thanks for trusting my guiding skills and being a bird magnet group..

Thanks to Paul, our driver, for keeping the road and transfers to different birding sites safe..

July 13-15 Birding trip with Sir Ben and Jackie from England.. Two people in the field of science and education making their vacation understanding nature, culture and of course birds of the different countries they visited.. and Palawan surely gave them another experience not only of birds but local foods.. cheers!

A day of birding and trying a new place with Sir George.. Gintong Butil, a project by The Agricultural Department of Puerto Princesa City.. Nice place for few endemics and specialty birds, i hope the city will also plant more ornamental plants for birds and some birdbaths but it is a really nice place to go birding..

Another a day of birding with Sir Tim from New Zealand, a conservationist to a conservationist, a wonderful shared of experience and ideas!.. and by the end of the day, we got our targets, a happy birder!
