𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, 𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗞 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗦𝗚𝗟𝗚 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗘

The Municipality of Polomolok is 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance awardee together with other 492 LGUs nationwide.

Only Municipality of Polomolok and Municipality of Tupi are the SGLG 2023 awardees in the Province of South Cotabato.

Over the years, the Seal of Good Local Governance has been instrumental in upholding transparency and accountability among local governments, promoting proactive actions to prepare for challenges posed by disasters and influencing LGU behavior that is supportive of both national and international development goals, among others—all these by incentivizing good performance.

This award would not be possible if it was not for the leadership of our Municipal Mayor Bernie D. Palencia, the 19th Sangguniang Bayan Members headed by Municipal Vice Mayor Melchor J. Jutar, Department Heads, employees of the LGU, and to all of the people who collaborated for this success. This is a testament that the LGU Polomolok is in constant pursuit of greatness for the benefit of the whole municipality.

In celebration of the 66th Foundation Anniversary of the Municipality of Polomolok and the 20th Flomlok Festival, the employees of the LGU Polomolok gathered for a night to celebrate over sportsmanship and camaraderie as clusters participated in their different show-stopping performances donned in their best "POP" attire.

Present during the said activity were Municipal Mayor Bernie D. Palencia, Municipal Vice Mayor Melchor J. Jutar, Municipal Councilor Florence S. Bansuelo-Carlos, Municipal Councilor Eliazar G. Jovero, Municipal Councilor Ligaya R. Orbesido, Municipal Councilor Calixto B. Salada, Municipal Councilor Leo J. Cordova, Municipal Councilor Paul Jordan P. Reyes, Municipal Councilor Juner C. Ang ating mga katutubo ay isa sa ating mga inspirasyon sa ating pamamahala sa lalawigan, at ang ating opisina ay laging bukas sa kanila upang mapakinggan ang kanilang mga hinaing at para ating malaman ang kanilang kalagayan.

Ngayong araw tayo'y binisita at nakipagpulong sa Indigenous Political Structure (IPS) Councils mula sa Bayan ng Lake Sebu kung saan kanilang ipinaabot sa atin ang ilan sa kanilang mga concerns, at pangangailangan. Sila din ay nagpahayag ng kanilang tuloy-tuloy na suporta sa ating administrasyon at tiniyak din natin sa kanila na tayo'y patuloy din sa pagpapaabot ng tama at maayos na serbisyo sa tribu, at para sa lahat.

THE 19TH SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OF POLOMOLOK WELCOMES HON. JEROME Y. ANTE AS OUR NEWLY ELECTED MUNICIPAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLE MANDATORY REPRESENTATIVE (IPMR)

Under the administration of Municipal Mayor Bernie D. Palencia together with Municipal Vice Mayor Melchor J. Jutar and the rest of the Sangguniang Bayan Members, we duly welcome Hon. Jerome Y. Ante as an addition to the public servants wholeheartedly working for the benefit of the Municipality of Polomolok.

Hon. Jerome Y. Ante took his Oath of Office today, June 7, 2023, with Municipal Mayor Bernie D. Palencia as the Administering Officer. Municipal Councilor Leo J. Cordova, DILG Representative Mr. Delson Alcorin, esteemed guests, family and friends, were present in the Mayor's Office to witness the oath-taking.
