I found this movie at a time when my own mind was a storm of confusion. I was simply trying to rest, desperately weighing my choices and wondering which path to take.

That is when I watched the story of Pope Francis. For years, he hadn't heard his calling. In fact, he was on his way to propose to the woman he loved—a massive crossroad in his life—when God placed someone in his path and changed his direction forever.

How often do we find ourselves in that exact same desert?

In our careers, our relationships, and our daily lives, we ache for a sense of purpose.

We grow deeply thirsty for a sign, yet everything feels dry, and God can feel heartbreakingly distant. But if we hold onto a certainty of faith, we realize that He is merely preparing us for the moment He calls us forward.

Beneath our anxieties, fears, and crippling doubts, one thing must remain unshakable: the faith that we will be called to serve. We don't need to be grand, historic figures like Pope Benedict or Pope Francis. The true measure of our lives is simply feeling His presence in the quiet, ordinary spaces of what we do.

Like the two popes, we all carry a history of mistakes and guilt since we are beautifully and painfully human. Sometimes we make choices we believe are right, only to watch them crumble around us.

Yet, it is in the rising from those ruins that we are truly remade. When you have exhausted your own strength and taken every step within your human power, there is only one thing left to do: surrender.

Lay it down, and offer it up to God’s mercy and miracles through the intercession of Mama Mary and our Dear Lord Jesus Christ. When surrender becomes our habit, we finally find the peace and hope we've been searching for.

Ito na siguro pinakamagandang guide sa pagnenegosyo!!!

Alam mo ba na may business principles sa Bible?

Kapag sinabing Bible,
madalas ang iniisip ng tao
panalangin, faith, at spiritual life.

Pero kung babasahin mo mabuti,
marami ring turo doon
na pwede mong gamitin sa negosyo.

Hindi lang tungkol sa simbahan ang Bible.
May mga prinsipyo rin doon
kung paano magtrabaho,
paano magdesisyon,
at paano maghawak ng responsibilidad.

Kung may negosyo ka,
alam mo na hindi madali.

May buwan na maganda ang benta.
May buwan na halos walang pasok.

May araw na motivated ka.
May araw na gusto mo nang tumigil.

Kaya hindi sapat ang diskarte lang.
Kailangan mo rin ng matibay na prinsipyo.

Halimbawa,

Proverbs 10:4
“Lazy hands make for poverty,
but diligent hands bring wealth.”

Ibig sabihin,
hindi sapat ang idea lang.

Hindi sapat ang plano lang.

May follow-up dapat.
May consistency dapat.
May ginagawa araw-araw.

May turo rin tungkol sa pagiging generous.

Luke 6:38
“Give, and it will be given to you.”

Proverbs 4:23
“Guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.”

Kung puno ng takot ang isip mo,
takot din ang mga desisyon mo.

Pero kung malinaw ang isip mo,
mas maayos ang galaw ng negosyo mo.

Ang negosyo
hindi lang strategy.

Mindset din.
Character din.
Principles din.

At minsan,
nandiyan na ang mga prinsipyo
sa librong matagal na nating hawak.

This story depicts who I am, I failed a hundred times because of my big trust to other people as well to people in authority like real estate developers but I never gave up since I know within my heart, I acted with the best intention and fortunately I learned how to value self-respect and self-perseverance.

I am not just a broker but I am a dreamer who envision to one day every loyal and faithful clients will see the value of I have done for them. Up to this point, the struggle is still very real but along the way I can pick up already the fruits of labor and seeing the smile of my clients' face is enough reason to continue no matter how heavy the circumstances.

He was sleeping in his car and washing dishes for minimum wage…
while his best friend was becoming one of the biggest movie stars on the planet.

Then a single bet changed everything.

In the late 1970s, Michael Blake arrived in Hollywood with nothing but a typewriter and a stubborn dream. Around 1981, he met a young actor named Kevin Costner. Neither of them had power. Or money. Or connections.

Just ambition.

In 1983, Blake wrote a small film called Stacy’s Knights. Costner starred in it.

The movie failed.

Their friendship didn’t.

Soon after, Costner’s career caught fire. Leading roles. Blockbusters. The kind of fame they had once talked about like it was a fantasy.

Most people would’ve drifted apart.

Costner didn’t.

He used his rising influence to get Blake into rooms with producers. He vouched for him. Put his own reputation on the line.

And every meeting went badly.

As Costner later admitted, “Every report that came back was that he pi**ed everybody off.”

Blake was angry. Frustrated. Convinced Hollywood was broken — that executives were fools and the system was rigged.

Costner saw something else.

One day he finally snapped. He grabbed Blake and shoved him against a wall.

“Then stop. If you hate scripts so much, quit writing them.”

It felt like the end.

A week later, Blake called. He had nowhere to stay. Could he crash on Costner’s couch?

Costner said yes.

For nearly two months, Blake slept there. He read bedtime stories to Costner’s daughter. He stayed up late writing. Every rejection, every humiliation — he poured it into a story.

Eventually he left Los Angeles.

He drifted east to Bisbee, Arizona. Washed dishes in a Chinese restaurant. Some nights he slept in his car.

But every night — he wrote.

He was working on a story about a wounded Civil War soldier who finds redemption among a Native American tribe. A Western. In an era when Hollywood insisted Westerns were dead. It was long. Expensive. Unfashionable.

No studio wanted it.

Costner and producer Jim Wilson believed in it anyway.

When Hollywood refused to finance the script, they made a different bet: turn it into a novel first.

Blake did.

Thirty publishers rejected it. One finally printed a small paperback run in 1988. It barely sold. When Blake asked about another printing, he was told to move on and write something else.

Most people would’ve quit.

Costner didn’t.

When he finally read the finished novel, he stayed up all night. By morning, he knew.

He called Blake.

“I’m turning this into a movie.”

Costner paid $75,000 of his own money to secure the rights. He hired Blake to adapt the screenplay. Then he made a decision that terrified Hollywood.

He would direct it himself.

He had never directed before.

The film was called Dances with Wolves.

Industry insiders mocked it as “Kevin’s Gate.” A three-hour Western? With subtitles in Lakota? Directed by a first-timer? They predicted disaster.

Production was grueling — brutal South Dakota weather, herds of buffalo, hundreds of horses, real wolves. When the budget ballooned, Costner invested $3 million of his own money to finish it.

On November 21, 1990, it premiered.

It became a cultural phenomenon.

The film grossed $424 million worldwide — the highest-grossing Western of its time.

At the 63rd Academy Awards, it received 12 nominations and won 7 Oscars.

Costner won Best Director.

The film won Best Picture.

And Michael Blake — the man who once slept in his car — stood on that stage in a tuxedo and won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Years later, the Library of Congress preserved the film in the National Film Registry.

Michael Blake passed away in 2015. His novel sold millions.

But that isn’t the heart of the story.

The heart of the story is this:

He was rejected for years.
He burned bridges.
He washed dishes while his best friend became a superstar.

But he never stopped writing.

The difference between those who make it and those who almost did isn’t always talent.

Sometimes it’s simpler than that.

Sometimes it’s just refusing to quit — especially when quitting would be easier.

With the ongoing War in the Middle East, one thing I deeply believe that humanity is very different now.

During the First and Second World War, soldiers will embrace whatever their respective country leaders are saying, hence, there is no awareness just like now that because of the proliferation of digital information, any human from different parts of the world learn to see the heart of every culture even the heart of their perceived enemies.

The Western people learn that Iranians are very friendly by how the social media influencers are showing us how they are treating foreigners with warm hospitality and friendliness; likewise Iranians also learn that there are Western people showing goodness within them so with these reflections, they should learn to refuse any form of law, being made by their country to be enforced just to engage in the war because these laws were made with the utmost goal of order and peace so why should they obey if it will only benefit the elite and their leaders even to the extent of being killed in huge groups.

I still remember the articles wherein Russian soldiers prefer to die rather than obeying their superiors because they believe that killing Ukraine civilians is not part of the war. I truly admire soldiers who rather face death than killing innocent people just because of the vested interest of the few.

Humanity has his/her own will and his/ her own heart right now so whatever the interests of the few why these wars are happening should not be tolerated since the involved soldiers are not really disobeying any kind of law if they refuse because laws were made even their respective Constitution to preserve humanity, peace and order and engaging into war is not a part of it.

This is just my simple thought that hopefully when a major disaster like WW3 will never be avoided, soldiers will realize their power in this war, they have the strength in numbers to refuse these leaders to avoid the end of humanity and preserve the one thing that separate us from animals - our heart to discern.

Sharing from a post for a safer LEASING BUSINESS:

1️⃣ May Application Form / Tenant Resume

Huwag verbal lang.
Magpa-fill out ng:
• Buong pangalan
• Trabaho / Company
• Monthly income
• Contact number
• Previous landlord
• Character references

👉 Red flag: Ayaw magbigay ng complete details.

2️⃣ I-Verify ang Income

Rule of thumb:

• On time ba siya?
• Maayos kausap?
• Respetado ba ang rules?

Tandaan:

Bago mag move-in:
• Ilang tao lang allowed?
• Bawal ba negosyo?
• Visitor policy?

6️⃣ Collect Proper Deposit & Advance

Serious tenant = walang problema sa:
• 1 month advance
• 2 months deposit
• Signed Contract of Lease

Yung laging nakikiusap na “pwede kalahati muna?”
⚠️ Madalas yan din ang laging delay.

7️⃣ Gut Feeling + Due Diligence

Hindi lang awa ang basehan.
Negosyo ito.

Mas mabuti:
✔ 2 weeks bakante ang unit
Kesa 1 year sakit sa ulo ang tenant.

A good reflection of our status kung nasaan na tayo ngayon, hopefully our group is in Elite Class since may mga sistema na kaming nabuo at binubuo especially the kind of passive income na focus lang namin.

Balanse ang kita (di gaano mataas; di rin gaano mababa) pero maximum/ optimum quality of life ang nararanasan because we make sure na hindi namin kailangang bigyan ng atensyon ang mga investment kung saan kami kumikita, kusang nagbibigay ng benefits (financial and travel incentives) without sacrificing our time for more important things like bonding with our children, bonding with friends, bonding with relatives but most especially bonding and traveling with family.

When you are old, you should have all the smiles remembering all the good things you have been to, all the places you visited, all the activities you share laughter with, all the adventure you have been, all the conversation you have shared with and all the memories of being HAPPY; not the stress of work, not the stress of earning more, not the stress of adjusting to your workmates, not the stress from your boss but the happiness of being satisfied with what you are earning.

So from this guide, reflect kung nasaan ka na ☺️.

An idea from Robert Kiyosaki that our company have also been doing:

Everyone wants the 50-unit apartment complex.

That’s exactly why they stay broke.

Let me tell you something most people don’t want to hear...
You’re not ready for that big deal.

And pretending you are? That’s how you lose everything.

Here’s what actually happens:

Most people sit around dreaming about massive apartment buildings and commercial properties.

They spend years “getting ready.”
Reading books. Watching videos. Going to seminars.

Meanwhile, the guy who bought a duplex three years ago?

He now owns four properties.

Why?

Because he understood something you don’t:

Your first property isn’t supposed to make you rich.

It’s supposed to make you EDUCATED.

When you start small, mistakes don’t kill you.

- The tenant trashes the unit? You learn property management.
- The AC dies? You learn maintenance budgeting.
- The city issues a violation? You learn due diligence.

And here’s the beautiful part:
That duplex is PAYING for your education.

Not you.

The cash flow covers your learning curve.

Compare that to the person who “swings for the fences” on their first deal...

- One major mistake and they’re done.
- One bad tenant situation across 20 units? Financial disaster.
- One thing they missed in due diligence? Bankruptcy.

The rich don’t start big. They start smart.

They buy a small property.

Let it teach them.
Let it cash flow.

Then they use that experience and that cash to buy the next one.

And the next one.

Five years later?

The person who “started small” owns a portfolio.
The person who “waited for the big deal” is still waiting.

Still reading.
Still preparing.
Still broke.

So here’s your choice:
Keep dreaming about that massive apartment complex while your money sits in a savings account losing value...

Or start small, start learning, and start building actual wealth.

Most people will keep waiting for “the perfect time.”

The smart ones start today.

Sa mga may Airbnb Business o nagbabalak, from Senator Raffy Tulfo in Action files:

𝐌𝐆𝐀 𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐊 𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐁𝐍𝐁, 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐇𝐈𝐍. 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐀 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐓!

Lumaki kaming nakita

Kaya ngayon,
iba na ang pinipili ng henerasyon ngayon.

We choose peace over property.
We choose distance over drama.
We choose starting from scratch
instead of fighting over what was left behind.

“Karapatan ko to.”
“Pinaghirapan to ng magulang natin.”
“Hindi ako papayag.”

Pero nakita namin
kung saan nauuwi yan.

We saw families break.
We saw love turn into resentment.
We saw inheritance become a burden, not a blessing.

Kaya marami sa amin
piniling umatras.
Piniling magsimula ulit.
Piniling mag-build ng sarili naming buhay
kahit mas mahirap.

Kasi mas mahalaga sa amin
ang katahimikan
kaysa panalo sa korte.

This generation isn’t weak.
Pagod lang kami sa gulo
na hindi naman namin sinimulan.

Kaya kung pinipili naming umiwas,
hindi yon kawalan.

Pagprotekta yon.
Sa sarili.
At sa pamilyang ayaw na naming tuluyang masira.

Hindi na makikipag-agawan ng lupa
ang henerasyon ngayon.

Hindi dahil wala kaming pakialam sa pamana.
Kundi dahil mas natuto na kaming
pahalagahan ang kapayapaan
kaysa titulo.
