ILAOโs Executive Director, Atty. Raizel V. Dimaano, and Resident Lawyer, Atty. Alfea C. Barra, delivered sessions that strengthened the participantsโ understanding of child protection in the digital space by providing a clear explanation of what OSAEC and CSAEM are and how these harms affect children, discussing the laws and national policies that safeguard children in the digital environment, and offering practical guidance on how LCPCs and BCPCs can prevent, identify, and report cases of OSAEC and CSAEM.
Through this initiative, ILAO joins the 2025 National Childrenโs Month celebration, continuing to advance child rights advocacy and equip local councils with the knowledge needed to protect children from online exploitation.๐ง๐งโจ๏ธ
