DASMARIÑAS CITY POLICE ARRESTS PROVINCIAL LEVEL MOST WANTED PERSON FOR ONLINE IDENTITY THEFT
Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, City of Imus, Cavite – In line with the Philippine National Police’s intensified campaign against wanted persons, personnel of the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station successfully arrested a Provincial Level Most Wanted Person during a police operation conducted at around 8:25 in teh afternoon, on February 11, 2026.
PLTCOL RESTY E SORIANO, Officer-in-Charge, Dasmariñas CCPS, identified the arrested accused as Loida and a resident of Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrants of Arrest for Violation of Section 4(B)(3) of Republic Act No. 10175 (Computer-Related Identity Theft), issued by the Regional Trial Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 63, Tarlac City, dated December 2, 2025, with recommended bail of Php120,000.00 each.
The operation was properly documented using a Body-Worn Camera and an Alternative Recording Device. The accused was duly apprised of her constitutional rights in a language known to and understood by her.
She is currently detained at Custodial Facility of the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station, while the warrant of arrest will be returned to the court of origin for proper documentation and disposition.
Meanwhile, PCOL ARIEL R RED, Provincial Director of the Cavite Police Provincial Office, commended the operating unit for the successful arrest. “This accomplishment reflects the dedication and professionalism of our personnel in addressing cyber-related crimes and ensuring that offenders are held accountable. The Cavite PNP remains committed to protecting the public from all forms of criminality, including those committed in cyberspace,” PCOL Red said.
