The 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 invites all 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢’𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬-𝐚𝐭-𝐋𝐚𝐰 for the first-ever 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢’𝐚𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐒𝐋𝐄) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

This program is designed to enhance legal competencies, deepen understanding of Shari’ah jurisprudence, and strengthen the capacity of the Shari’ah legal practitioners.

• The CSLE Program is exclusively open to the members of the Philippine Shari’ah Bar.

• No registration fee will be charged to the participants.

• The Bangsamoro Attorney General’s Office will provide lunch, as well as morning and afternoon refreshments, for the duration of the program.

• Participants shall shoulder their own transportation, accommodation, and other meal expenses while in Davao City.

Pumbaya Law participated in a public hearing conducted by the Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament, through its Committee on Social Services and Development.

During the hearing, the firm presented its comments and recommendations on proposed Bill No. 256, entitled “An Act Instituting the Free Marriage Counseling Program in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, Providing Mechanisms for Its Implementation, Appropriating Funds Therefor, and for Other Purposes.”

The position of Pumbaya Law was presented by SCL Raihana H. Usman, who articulated the firm’s legal and Shari’ah-based recommendations to strengthen the proposed measure. The presentation emphasized the importance of aligning the bill with the principles derived from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, as well as the Presidential Decree No. 1083.

Other members of Pumbaya Law were also present during the public hearing, showing the firm’s collective support and active participation in policy development within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
