Grateful to have been invited and to be part of the Agricultural Mechanization Roadshow, “Kubota Saka Birada,” together with the Provincial Government of Bukidnon, PABEO, Kubota Philippines, our farmers, and other agricultural stakeholders.

As leaders, we must continue to support initiatives that bring innovation and modern technology closer to our farming communities. Agricultural mechanization can help our farmers work more efficiently, reduce production costs, respond to labor challenges, and improve productivity.

We remain committed to supporting programs, partnerships, and policies that strengthen Bukidnon’s agricultural sector and equip our farmers with the knowledge, technology, and opportunities they need to become more productive, competitive, and resilient.

Committee on Peace and Order

The Committee on Peace and Order convened a committee hearing to discuss measures that will further strengthen the protection, privacy, dignity, and welfare of children, particularly in matters involving public information, social media, and law enforcement intervention.

We were joined by representatives from the Bukidnon Press Club, Kapisanan ng mga Broadcaster ng Pilipinas, PAIA, PSWDO, CSWDO Valencia, PNP Women and Children Protection Desk, PNP Cybercrime Unit, and PNP Valencia, whose insights and recommendations were valuable in identifying possible policy measures and improving coordination among concerned agencies.

The discussion likewise emphasized the importance of observing the principles of the Juvenile Justice Law, strengthening child protection mechanisms, and promoting responsible journalism, especially when handling information involving minors.

We thank all participating agencies and organizations for their meaningful contribution as we continue working toward policies that uphold public safety while protecting the rights and welfare of every child.

Advancing One Health Collaboration in Mindanao

September 8, 2026 | Central Mindanao University, Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon

I was honored to be invited to represent the Local Government Unit of Bukidnon during the official launching of the Center for One Health and Veterinary Engagement in Mindanao (COVE-Min) at Central Mindanao University.

This important initiative brings together government, academe, researchers, farmers, community stakeholders, and other partners in addressing interconnected concerns involving human health, animal health, the environment, and our communities.

Through COVE-FARMS, COVE-PAWS, and COVE-BRIDGE, the Center opens more opportunities for collaborative research, surveillance, capacity building, knowledge sharing, and the development of evidence-informed programs and policies.

The Province of Bukidnon recognizes the value of strengthening partnerships between government and academic institutions so that research and innovation can be translated into practical and meaningful solutions for our communities.

Congratulations to Central Mindanao University, the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Office of the Vice President for Research, Development and Extension, and all partner institutions behind this significant initiative.

May COVE-Min continue to strengthen cooperation and contribute to healthier communities, stronger systems, and a more resilient and sustainable future for Bukidnon and Mindanao.

𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟱𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻)

The 57th Regular Session of the 𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻 convened on August 25, with 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗢𝘄𝗲𝗻 𝗟. 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮 joining his fellow members of the Provincial Board in taking up various legislative matters concerning the province and its communities. The session provided an avenue for the Board to carefully examine proposed ordinances, resolutions, and other matters requiring legislative action. Through substantive discussions and collective deliberation, the Provincial Board continues to work toward sound decisions that address the needs and priorities of the people of Bukidnon.

Board Member Atty. Oliver Owen L. Garcia remains committed to fulfilling his legislative responsibilities with diligence and sound judgment, while keeping the welfare and interests of every Bukidnon at the heart of his public service.

In these capacities, he took part in the deliberation, review, and evaluation of matters referred to the respective Committees, particularly those falling within their legislative mandates, including matters concerning environmental protection, disaster preparedness, fiscal and economic affairs, trade and industry, and pertinent legal considerations. Through informed deliberation and constructive discussion, the Committees continue to advance the responsive, participatory, and lawful exercise of the legislative functions of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bukidnon, in furtherance of the interests and welfare of the Province and its constituents.

Beyond honored to support an initiative that brings knowledge, technology, and meaningful opportunities closer to our community.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 of the 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 — “𝘈𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘕𝘨𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯, 𝘈𝘐 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘰 𝘉𝘶𝘬𝘢𝘴” — was held at 𝗟𝘂𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻. 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 was held at 𝗖𝗠𝗨 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻, 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴, 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻, bringing together teachers and students for a meaningful learning experience on Artificial Intelligence, digital technology, and innovation.

For 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮, it is a privilege to support an initiative that invests in both educators and learners—providing them with knowledge and skills that can help them navigate the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly digital world.

The activity brought together 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗰. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼 “𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗼” 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗲, Undersecretary for Strategic Initiatives and Industry and Competency Development, together with 𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝘂𝗼𝘁 of 𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗫, 𝗥𝗗 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮 of 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧. More than an introduction to emerging technology, the caravan creates an avenue for learning, collaboration, and greater awareness of the opportunities that technology can offer.
