When Flood Control Becomes a Flood of Corruption.
They spent ₱545 billion+ on flood control projects meant to save lives, stop the drowning, protect communities. But two government engineers testified most were ghosts, overpriced, built with cheap materials just to feed kickbacks.
While you were getting flooded, they were lining their pockets.
More than 200 were arrested in street protests demanding justice.
This is not “bogus budgeting.” It’s betrayal. It’s a breach of trust so deep it floods over every part of governance.
We demand accountability. Freeze every account. Prosecute the masterminds. Recover what was stolen. Reform the system.
We deserve infrastructure that protects us, not one that profits them.
