Payment of wages for the upcoming holidays!

📣 Labor Advisory No. 11, Series of 2025: Payment of Wages for the Special (Non-Working) Day on 21 August 2025 and the Regular Holiday on 25 August 2025

On August 21 (Ninoy Aquino Day), if the Employee did not work, the "no work, no pay" principle shall apply, unless there is a favorable company policy, practice, or Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) granting payment on a Special Day. For work done, the Employee shall be paid an additional 30% of his/her basic wage on the first eight hours of work.

On August 25 (National Heroes Day), if the Employee did not work, he/she shall be paid 100% of his/her wage for that day, provided that he/she is present, or on leave with pay, the day preceding the holiday. For work done, the Employee shall be paid a total of 200% of his/her wage for that day for the first eight hours.
