"Your license gives you the right to practice, but your ethics determine if you deserve it. The law may be your profession, but integrity is your identity"

Pres. Panolong delivered his message emphasizing that ethics in the legal profession is not a one-time commitment, it is a daily responsibility that shapes how we serve others. As we continue the rollout of the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability (CPRA), we are reminded that integrity must be practiced consistently, especially in moments when no one is watching. At the same time, the Unified Legal Aid Service challenges us to go beyond knowledge and translate our principles into meaningful service for those in need.

He added that legal aid is not merely an act of charity, but a duty to ensure that justice remains accessible to all, especially the marginalized. Through continuous learning, volunteerism, and active participation, we strengthen both our profession and our purpose. Let us be reminded that true professionalism is grounded in accountability, compassion, and ethical conduct. Together, let us uphold justice, not only in words, but in everyday action.
