EMPOWERING THE YOUTH, STRENGTHENING MENTAL RESILIENCE THROUGH SERVICE

Motivation Philippines Inc. was honored to be invited to the Mental Health Awareness Seminar held on October 7, 2026, at Santa Monica Institute of College.

The session was facilitated by Pretchell Noriel Sultones, RSW, representing Motivation Philippines Inc., focusing on mental health awareness, resilience, and the importance of seeking support among the youth.

We sincerely thank Santa Monica Institute of technology for the invitation and for providing a meaningful platform to promote mental well-being and youth empowerment.

Together, let us empower the youth and strengthen mental resilience through service.

October is National Mental Health Month. 🧠💚

As we continue to care for our mental health—not only today, but every day—we welcome October with the theme “From Wounds to Wisdom: Ang Nakaraan ay Bahagi, Hindi Katapusan.”

This mental health movement reminds us that our experiences, struggles, and wounds from the past are valid. The pain we have experienced may have shaped who we are today, but it does not have to define our future.

Every person carries a story. Some stories are filled with happiness and success, while others carry pain, loss, struggles, and moments that are difficult to talk about. Whatever your story may be, your feelings are valid, your experiences matter, and your journey is worth acknowledging.

Remember: Ang sugat ng kahapon, hindi dulo ng iyong kwento.
Your past may be part of your story, but it is not the end of your story.

They have truly worked hard and their perseverance and dedication paid off as they were able to become part of the revered and noble profession of Social Work and dedicate their lives, energies and time to serve God and others, especially the needy and the marginalized of society.

May their journey as new social workers and champions of the oppressed be filled with challenges that will test their resiliency, fortitude and faith in God. In their paths as social workers, may they always remember to be committed to serve with a pure heart and advocate for the vulnerable in their communities.
