Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. WELCOME to CARABALAN BARTER COMMUNITY. This group serves as the intermediary for NO PRICE, NO CASH transactions. Since the exchanges encourage trade of idle items on hand, this group therefore advocates for LESS WASTE through REUSE, and RECYCLE.
Please read these mechanics first before posting. Thanks!
Two Basic Rules:
1. NO CASH. This is a place where our medium of exchange is items only. Strictly no buying or selling in this group.
2. NO PRICE. Since the concept of value is subjective to everyone in the barter system, strictly no mentioning of price.
Two Ways to Negotiate:
3. INITIATE THE BARTER. Just post the item you want to exchange with a brief explanation or description, that may or may not include what you wish to get in return.
4. OFFER and COUNTER OFFER. You can also comment your items to the posts within this page. You can try to offer something else than what is mentioned in the description.
Closing the Barter:
5. The offers can go on in the thread until the one who posted selects from the thread by replying "Deal" to the choice. Only the arrangements to delivery or pickup can be discussed privately. This is to protect personal information such as home addresses and contact numbers.
6. When both parties have already agreed to the terms and mentioned "Deal," the contract is now official. Initiating party should edit post to "PENDING" status. When the barter exchange is done, the same must edit the post specifying DONE, COMPLETED, or EXCHANGED. We will allow this post to exist for some time as proof of exchanges. Posts will be deleted to make way for new ones.
Dos and Don'ts:
7. We encourage food, ingredients, edibles, beauty products or toiletries. Let's keep the group fun, dynamic, useful and inspiring in this time of pandemic.
8. No harmful, illegal expired, indecent or unlicensed items please. Please report any post which are suspicious or unlawful.
Disclaimer:
9. NO MIDDLEMAN SYSTEM. This group is stricly for intermediary purposes only. The administrators will not be liable for any damages to both parties.
10. NO MINORS ALLOWED. Each member shall be responsible and consenting adults dealing with one another IN GOOD FAITH. It is presumed that all the one bartering possess full ownership and right of disposal of the items being bartered.
