Please be informed that the City Mayor, Hon. Filomeno L. Reyes, has issued an Executive Order adopting the Executive Order of the Provincial Government. Accordingly, classes at all levels in all public and private schools and work of the teaching and non-teaching personnel in public schools in Guihulngan City, are suspended effective February 5, 2026 until February 6, 2026.

Work Suspension Advisory

In line with Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 96 and the observance of “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day,” work in Guihulngan City Government offices will be suspended starting 1:00 PM on September 22, 2025 to encourage our LGU officials and employees to spend mealtime with their families.

In consonance with the suspension by the President of all work in government offices under the executive branch, work in local offices under all national agencies within the jurisdiction of guihulngan city are likewise declared suspended.

Please be advised, however, that offices providing essential services such as health care, disaster response, and other vital operations will remain open to serve the public.
