I officially took my oath as a Commissioned Notary Public for and in the Province of Cagayan before the sala of Judge Neljoe Cortes. ⚖️

What made this milestone even more memorable was when I found out that Judge Cortes is a fellow kababayan from Gonzaga. 🙂Maraming salamat po, Judge, for your kindness, humility, and warm encouragement. It was truly an honor to take my oath before you. God bless you always po 🥰

Parang kailan lang, this was only one of my dreams. By God's grace, it has become a reality.🙏🥺

Who would have thought that the batang taga-downstream, lumaki malapit sa dagat, sa isang maliit na barangay, would one day have the privilege of serving the public through the legal profession? 🧳🙏🥰

This is a reminder that our beginnings do not determine our future. With faith, perseverance, and God's perfect timing, dreams do come true.🤗🥰

To those who prayed for me especially my husband, mommy, daddy,and my siblings who believed in me, supported me, and walked with me throughout this journey-thank you from the bottom of my heart. This milestone is not mine alone; it is shared with all of you.❤️

Justice began with a question, not a sentence.

Did you know God was the first to apply the “Right to be Heard”? Before the judgment was passed in the Garden of Eden, God asked: “And he said'Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” (Genesis 3:11 NIV). He didn't just condemn; He gave Adam and Eve the opportunity to speak.

In our legal system, this is the essence of Article III of the 1987 Constitution, Sec. 1 "No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law."

Sec. 14(2) “In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall be presumed innocent until the contrary is proved, and shall enjoy the right to be heard by himself and counsel…..”

Before you judge or are judged, remember: Even the Almighty practices the right to be heard.⚖️
