The success of Casus Belli 2026 would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and leadership of the Student Government of the University of Mindanao – College of Law (S.Y. 2025–2026), headed by Student Governor Vanessa T. Garganera, together with Vice Governor Alliah Jahshin C. Casamino, Secretary Ragde R. Banad, Treasurer Charish Kaye A. Radaña, Auditor Lloyd Andrei C. Asuncion, and Public Relations Officer (Internal) James Clyderon Valdez, and Public Relations Officer, Aivie Jean Bravo.

Also part of the team are the Year Level Representatives: Joriz Jake F. Autida (1st Year), Sahaboden M. Ali (2nd Year), Mary Ann Veroy (3rd Year), and Shaira Angelica S. Magno (4th Year).

Thank you for your dedication, countless sleepless nights, and unwavering commitment to creating an event that brought the entire law community together. Your efforts truly made Casus Belli 2026 a memorable and meaningful celebration.

The College of Law community is deeply grateful for your leadership and service. Your passion and teamwork brought this year’s Casus Belli to life and made it a success for everyone.

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!🏆

Casus Belli 2026 has officially come to a close following the final day held last March 1, 2026 at the UM Gymnasium. With unwavering teamwork, loyalty, and determination, Team Hufflepuff of the 2nd Year once again proved their dominance as they claim the title of Back-to-Back Overall Champion, after also reigning supreme during in the Casus Belli 2025.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our UM-Law Dean, Atty. Antonio B. Arellano, and our Assistant Dean, Atty. Ahmedsiddique B. Dalam, as well as to all our UM Law professors, for their guidance and support throughout the event. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our very supportive Sir Alex Manocdoc for his continuous encouragement and support. A special and big thanks as well to our special guest judge, the one and only Sherwinabols, for gracing the celebration and adding excitement to our Casus Belli 2026.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to our generous sponsors for their invaluable support, to SNJ Lights and Sound for providing the sound system that powered the entire event, and to our very bubbly photographers, Sir Ron Bautista and Sir Kevin Abentajado, for capturing every memorable moment. A big appreciation and heartfelt thanks as well to all the House Masters for their unwavering support, for ensuring that the needs of their respective teams were provided, and for their dedication in helping make Casus Belli 2026 run smoothly. WHAT A NIGHT! 🤘

Last March 1, 2026, during the final day of Casus Belli 2026 at the UM Matina Gymnasium, the stage shook as our houses battled it out in this year’s Battle of the Bands. After an electrifying showdown of vocals, instruments, and stage presence, the Team Hufflepuff of 2nd Year emerged as CHAMPION! 🏆

The 4th Year Ravenclaw took the 1st Runner-Up spot, followed by 3rd Year Gryffindor as 2nd Runner-Up, and 1st Year Slytherin as 3rd Runner-Up.

Congratulations Houses! 🎶
