🎾🇵🇭 ALEX EALA: A FILIPINO PRIDE ON AND OFF THE COURT

Fresh from her hard-fought third-round exit at the 2026 US Open, Filipino Tennis star Alex Eala appeared as a special guest on CBS Mornings, where she spoke about her journey, mindset, and the responsibility of representing the Philippines.

Asked about the pressure of carrying the hopes of an entire nation, Eala delivered another inspiring response:

“It definitely comes with pressure… But pressure is a privilege.”

Eala also reflected on the power of representation and the impact of inspiring others, sharing how the stories of her supporters continue to motivate her.

Her interviews and post-match answers have increasingly become moments that resonate with Filipino fans worldwide—not only because of her achievements on the court, but also because of the pride, composure, and inspiration she brings whenever she speaks.

When asked who she was rooting for in the women’s quarterfinals, Eala did not hesitate: Coco Gauff. 🎾💪

After a memorable US Open campaign, Eala continues to prove why she is more than a rising Tennis star--she is a source of inspiration and a Filipino pride on the global stage. 🇵🇭❤️
