𝙊𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 (𝘾𝙇𝙀𝙋) 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙨.

On September 2, 2026, the Xavier University School of Law Student Practitioners took their oath and received their pins during the official launching of the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) Clinics.

Held under the theme “𝗣𝗔𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗢𝗗: 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲,” the ceremony saw 84 new student practitioners sworn in by Executive Judge Arthur L. Abundiente. In taking their oath, they committed to uphold the principles of due process and social justice, and to dedicate their service to the communities assigned to their respective CLEP clinics.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the newly inducted law student practitioners. May this milestone mark the beginning of a purposeful journey grounded in compassion, integrity, and unwavering commitment to justice.

𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆. 𝑨 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆. 🔥

The inaugural 𝑷𝑨𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑼𝑵𝑮𝑶𝑫 2026: 𝑪𝑳𝑬𝑷 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑 brought together student leaders from the six clinics of XUCLA to kindle a shared vision for transformative leadership. Over the course of the weekend, the camp featured varied training sessions, from expectation setting on Day 1, to engaging leadership and team building activities on Day 2, and finally to purposeful, concrete Clinic Action Plan presentations on Day 3.

In the true spirit of 𝒑𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒅—a selfless offering of oneself dedicated to a noble purpose—our clinic officers leave this camp not just as student practitioners, but as advocates committed to their respective sectoral causes. The camp has ended, but the work of justice continues.

This rights literacy session will unpack the constitutional guarantees and safeguards under the 1987 Philippine Constitution, examining how our legal framework protects fundamental rights against state overreach and empowers citizens during states of emergency.

Meet Our Speaker: Atty. Junaid S. Dadayan

We’re thrilled to introduce Atty. Junaid S. Dadayan—a Lawyer, Licensed Professional Teacher, and Licensed Real Estate Broker with nearly a decade of experience in public service.

He currently serves as Legislative Staff Officer IV and Finance Head in the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, as well as an Associate Lawyer at ET Reyes III Law Firm. A Juris Doctor graduate of the University of San Agustin (ranking 5th in his class), he also led the Technical Working Group for the proposed Bangsamoro Human Rights Defenders Protection Act.

This August 21-23, the six clinics of XUCLA will come together for the inaugural Leadership Camp, marking a pivotal moment in our 30-year mission of service and the pursuit of justice through law.

More than just a strategic planning event, this three-day camp provides a space to sharpen the values, skills, and vision that will guide each clinic through another year of service to the marginalized communities we serve.

As XUCLA marks 30 years of forming advocates for others, the Leadership Camp stands as a deliberate spark, an investment in the very leaders who will carry the center's mission into its next chapter. Guided by the theme Pahinungod: Thirty Years of Forming Advocates for Others, Forging Meaningful Partnerships for Social Justice, this leadership camp is designed to ignite the kind of servant-leadership that has defined XUCLA since 1996 and propel our legal service forward.

Because leadership, like fire, is meant to be passed on.
