The arrival of the "Ber" months is a beautiful reminder that no matter how heavy our hardships or how daunting our problems may feel, hope always finds a way back in. There is always a reason to smile, a moment to give thanks, and an opportunity to be a light and a blessing in someone else's life.

May this season bring peace to your heart, warmth to your home, and renewed strength to your spirit. Let’s spread love, kindness, and joy to everyone around us! 🎁 ❤️✨

Congratulations to our own District Public Attorney for being named one of the Outstanding Alumni 2026 Awardees at Philippine Normal University Visayas. 😎🎉🤩

Day 2 of 2: We at the Public Attorney’s Office - Cadiz District Office expresses our utmost gratitude to Philippine Normal University - Visayas especially to its Student Affairs and Services Unit for giving us an opportunity to discuss the salient features and important concepts and procedures laid down under the Anti Bullying Act (R.A. 10627) and the Juvenile Justice Welfare Act (R.A. 9344, as amended).

Today’s forum is about shaping minds, protecting children, and building a community where every learner feels safe, respected, and heard.

To our students, future Licensed Professional Teachers, parents, and key stakeholders: may we remember that education is not only about what we teach in the classroom, but also about the values we model—compassion, accountability, respect, and justice. ⚖️

Together, let us become advocates for every child’s right to grow, learn, and live free from violence, discrimination, and fear. 🤍💚

Day 1 of 2: Philippine Normal University Visayas, in partnership with the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), invites all parents, teachers, and school administrators to join us for Day 1 of our two-day educational forum focused on the Anti-Bullying Act (R.A. 10627) and the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act (R.A. 9344, as amended).

Unlawful aggression—whether physical, verbal, or digital—has no place in our schools or in Cadiz City, and creating a truly safe, livable environment for our youth requires active legal literacy and collaboration between our homes and classrooms.

The Public Attorney’s Office is honored to share vital legal knowledge, practical intervention strategies, and clear reporting protocols so that together, as one Cadiznon community, we can protect our students, prevent youth involvement in violence, and build a brighter, safer future for all.

Restorative Justice in Action: BJMP Cadiz Jail Visitation & Livelihood Drive

As part of our commitment to restorative justice and human rights, we recently conducted a Jail Visitation at BJMP Cadiz City Jail. Atty. Nequinto and Atty. Valdevieso provided direct legal updates and answered pressing case queries for all 183 Persons Deprived of Liberty (171 male and 12 female PDLs) to ensure their right to due process remains protected.

While legal support is essential, one of the greatest challenges these individuals face is supporting their families and settling financial dues while inside. Separated from their loved ones, many still carry the heavy burden of being the sole breadwinners for their households.

Through the BJMP Cadiz Livelihood Program, PDLs create high-quality handcrafted items, artwork, and local products to earn an honest living.

We invite you to support them by purchasing their crafts.

True justice isn't just about punishment—it's about restoration and second chances. By purchasing their work, you help turn hope into tangible relief for 183 families.
