Yes, it's often allowed and even recommended for a couple (or multiple people) to be included in one single Affidavit of Support and Guarantee (AOSG) for Philippine immigration purposes, as long as both sponsors' names are clearly listed with their details, proving financial capacity and relationship for all invitees; it's more efficient than separate documents, but must meet all requirements like notarization and supporting financial/ID proofs for each sponsor.
Key Considerations:
Combined Document: Yes, one AOSG can cover a couple inviting someone, or even multiple people/relatives, if their names, relationship, and financial details are all in the document.
Formal & Legal: The AOSG is a formal, notarized document from the Philippine Embassy/Consulate (or local notary) that legally binds the sponsor to cover expenses and ensure the visitor doesn't become a public charge.
Requirements: Ensure all sponsor IDs, proof of relationship (e.g., PSA birth cert), and financial capacity (bank statements, employment certs) are attached for each sponsor.
