Taking a breathtaking pause in my “sanctum” before another milestone. ⚖️✨

Dressed in my black Filipiniana gown with pristine white trimmings, I take a quiet, deeply reflective breath beside this massive, intensely emotional painting of Lady Justice.

What makes this piece so profoundly beautiful is that it was passionately crafted by my only daughter, Jamie-Ann Chloe of Infinite Ridge. To see the ultimate symbol of my profession envisioned through the creative eyes of my own child provides an irreplaceable sense of inspiration as I continue my legal journey.⚖

Standing here in the very sanctum of the law office that my family and I so lovingly built, I reflect on the profound weight of the title I now hold.😇

And as I prepare to take on bigger roles and heavier responsibilities with each passing day, I fully embrace the onus probandi – the burden of proof – not just in the courtroom, but in proving every day that excellence and empathy can beautifully coexist. For me, the law is not merely a rigid set of rules, but a living, breathing instrument to uplift others.

From the quiet of my office, the evening transitioned into an absolute whirlwind of pride and joy as I arrived at Roy’s Hotel Bacolod.☺️

Stepping into the venue – not to watch from the sidelines, but to officially take my solemn oath and be inducted as a bona fide member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines - Negros Occidental Chapter – felt surreal as I mark yet another milestone in my professional life, adding confirmation to the glorious realization of a lifelong dream, built on unyielding faith and immense sacrifice.

The absolute pinnacle of this unforgettable night was the profound honor of sharing a photo with Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy Lazaro-Javier, the visionary Chair of our 2025 Bar Examinations, our Bar Mom.🥰

Looking at our wide, radiant smiles captured together, the Bar Mom and me – one of her Bar Babies, my heart overflows with gratitude; to stand beside the very Justice who spearheaded the grueling exams that tested our grit is a moment I will cherish forever.

And amidst the beautiful chaos of the celebration, I just had to pause for a quick selfie – a quiet, personal reminder to myself of the pure, raw happiness of this hard-earned milestone.

Surrounded by the memories of my daughter's art, the warmth of my new colleagues, and the boundless love of my family, I am reminded of my true raison d'être. The law is my profession, but my family is my absolute foundation.👪⚖👪

Amidst all these, it is with great humility I realize: in the grand jurisprudence of life, our greatest legacy is not found in the arguments we win, but in the compassion we share and the people who stand by us. Justice may be blind, but love is the sine qua non – the absolutely indispensable condition – that gives our profession its true vision and our hearts their truest joy. To practice law is to joyfully seek balance – ensuring that while we weigh the scales of justice out in the world, we never lose sight of the warmth and truth waiting for us at home!⚖🫂

Here’s to new beginnings, broken glass ceilings, and the relentless pursuit of what is right! 🙌🥂⚖

Thank you so much Lord!!!🙏❤🙏 To God be the Glory!!!🙏🙏🙏

The law is not a monument we visit, but a principle we live by—a daily, quiet promise to protect the vulnerable, uphold the truth, and choose fairness.

To me, this breathtaking Lady Justice isn’t just a piece of office decor. It was done by my daughter, Jamie-Ann Chloe, as a beautiful tribute to my journey in the law. Seeing my lifelong dedication to justice captured so vividly through her art is a deeply moving reminder of where passion meets purpose.

We often think of the law as something distant, an abstract concept confined to courtrooms, heavy books, and legal briefs. But the reality is that the law breathes through our everyday lives. It is the invisible thread that holds our communities together, the boundary that keeps us safe, and the shared, fundamental agreement that everyone deserves a voice. It shapes the way we interact, work, and build our futures.

Here’s to my fellow advocates who defend that thread every single day, and to the artists who remind us of its profound beauty. ⚖️🎨

Coming home.

Walking through the familiar halls of my Alma Mater, Bacolod Trinity Christian School, yesterday, March 24, 2026 felt like stepping into a beautiful time machine.🥰 It felt like stepping right back into my childhood.☺️

Standing there to receive a citation for passing the 2025 Bar Exams, alongside fellow alumni from other Batches who also received recognition for various achievements, was incredibly surreal and deeply emotional, and filled me with so much pride for our school. It also made me realize just how far we’ve all come, yet how much this place still feels like home.🥰😍

Wandering around the campus and taking photos in the different sections where I spent my elementary and high school days brought a massive flood of memories. It’s amazing how a place can hold so much of one's history. My heart was just overflowing with happiness as I remembered the laughter and the lessons that shaped me.❤🥰☺️

But the absolute highlight of the day was reconnecting—seeing familiar faces and especially getting that warm, heartfelt embrace from Hao Tiu truly made my day.🥰 It genuinely felt like coming home after a long journey.😇 It was the kind of welcome that makes you feel like you never really left, a reminder that the bonds formed here are truly lifelong.

I am so deeply grateful to the Trinity Christian School Alumni Association for the invitation and for this beautiful honor.🙏🥰
Thank you for the warm welcome and for allowing me to relish these precious memories once again. It’s so good to be home, especially knowing that the values and discipline I learned within these walls were the very roots that gave me the strength to persevere and finally achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer.🙏⚖️

Thank you so much TCS!🙏🥰🙏 Thank you very much Lord!!!🙏❤🙏 To God be the Glory!!!🙏🙏🙏
