Day #52

Today has been quite productive - delivered an appraisal and have followed up some more people from the prior meetings. What really helps is having a Trello board. I can see who needs a follow up at a glance. A massive reduction to the anxiety of randomly remembering not following up someone who you were meant to stay in touch with.

Day #48

We are back to the party after a bit of a radio silence. Things are moving at a good pace with a property getting prepared for the market, plus the other one is in negotiation whether to go on the market or not. People are in the good spirits after the break and it’s great to see.

Day #42

After a bit of silence we are back on the party. Knocked in Churton Park for 2 days in a row with somewhat successful results.

Have also delivered an appraisal from last week and think it went quite well, however nothing is confirmed yet. They have asked me to follow up further down the week which is exactly what I will do.

Days are getting shorter (and colder) and it’s the Daylight savings week which is always a little bit sad when it suddenly gets dark at 5pm but that’s okay. More tomorrow.

Day #35

BIG BIG day today. Lots of calls. Lots of lessons learnt. Feeling a little drained but that is normal after talking to so many people.

If anything, it only motivates me more. I’m getting better every day and the learnings never stop. More tomorrow

Day #33

Sometimes things come from a direction you don’t expect. This time it was an appraisal opportunity in the Hutt - so I’ve passed the lead to my Hutt colleagues who specialise in the area. Also a great opportunity for me to learn different ways of doing the business and looking forward to more learnings

Day #30

Honestly thought this person has blocked me, but he was just on holiday. Turns out a bit of perseverance pays off so let’s see how this plays out!

Lots of things have been happening in the last month and one of the biggest learnings is how quickly things happen when you put the effort in.

Who knew 4 weeks would fly by so quickly.

Great opportunity to learn from others and also figure out things on your own. Lots happening and it’s exciting to be a part of it.

Day #27

Quality over quantity always wins. I’ve knocked on about 50 doors and while not everyone was interested, quite a few had given me important intel on the street which was awesome. Booked an appraisal for a potential client as she is unsure what to do yet so will give her an opinion and some options so she can make an informed decision.

Day #26

We are quarter of the way there! I can’t believe that in 26 days so many things have changed. I’ve established valuable relationships with my colleagues and clients, learnt lots along the way and things are seeming to fall into place nicely.

Now let’s sell them🙂

The content plan really needs to be looked at. This weekend will be about creating a clear system to add along with the door knocking and follow ups to blend it together.
