It was wonderful to visit Deputy Prosecutor Nazhat Shameem Khan at The Hague - International Criminal Court(ICC).

Deputy Prosecutor Khan has achieved the heights at an international level. I am very proud of her many important roles. As an Immigration and Refugee Lawyer, it was inspiring to meet a fellow Fiji Indian women working in law at this level.

It was also a privilege to visit The Hague, which through its courts and tribunals, represents the principles enshrined in the Refugee Convention (1951). This really gives context to the work Idesi Legal does.

Hands up who wants Residence?

From 26 March 2025, Primary and Middle School teachers will be eligible to apply for the Green List-Straight to Residence Visa.

Eligibility for this visa is based on:

* being a registered teacher in New Zealand and hold a practising certificate as a teacher.
* have a job or job offer that pays at least $31.61.
* work as a primary, intermediate, or Māori-medium primary teacher.
