Lance Lawson spent the day in the Whakarewarewa forest putting our skills of teamwork, perseverance and collaboration to the test. A huge thanks to our guests Melodie Robinson and Julian Dean who joined us for the afternoon. They shared with us their personal journeys as well as their wisdom on “the team” that they have both learnt during their successful careers.

COVID-19 Update: Our physical office is open and we can safely meet with clients in accordance with the Delta level two guidelines. For the safety of our clients and staff, face to face meetings are by appointment only and we will be continuing to assist our clients by phone, email and video conference. Although our physical office is now closed for the level 4 lockdown, we continue to be open for the rest of the week with all our staff working remotely.

We remain contactable at our office on 07 346 0796 (Rotorua) and 07 575 2245 (Mount Maunganui) as well as by email, FaceTime, Zoom and in what ever way we can support you.

With kotahitanga at the forefront, we, as a team, are committed to continuing to provide the same services to our clients over this time.

Lance Lawson brought its two offices together and had an amazing day and night at the Awahou Marae. A huge thanks goes to our hosts. In particular the kaumatua who gave their time to share with our team their wisdom on kotahitanga and joined in our session with Miriam Hewson from Futureproof Concepts. Thanks to Miriam for inspiring open communication. As a team we learned a lot about ourselves and each other. As we grow together we improve as a team that focuses on its clients and their needs. People and our culture first always!

We are so proud that Lance Lawson has produced its first Judge with the appointment of Bill Lawson to the District Court. This is a tremendous honour for both Bill, his family and the firm, as well as a significant appointment for the Rotorua Criminal Bar. We will miss Bill’s leadership, humour, and humility but we know that he will be a fantastic addition to the District Court bench.
